In collaboration with Edinburgh’s Fruitmarket, we are offering an outstanding Event Management course for young people aged 18-25. This programme is designed to equip you with essential skills and provide immersive, hands-on practical training.

This immersive course provides a platform for participants to:Learn by Doing: Take a deep dive into the processes of event planning and delivery.Engage with a Real Project: Tackle genuine event briefs, honing skills in various aspects of event production, from conceptualisation to the nitty-gritty of risk assessments.Develop Holistic Skills: Cultivate a robust skill set essential for successful event producers. Explore skills in marketing, budgeting, creative programming and project management.Gain Industry Insights: Attend exclusive sessions featuring seasoned professionals from the festival and events industry, offering valuable perspectives and advice.Open Doors to Opportunities: Secure a chance to interview for coveted work placements at high-profile festivals and events across Edinburgh, launching your career in the arts event industry.
Who is this for?
No prior experience is necessary; however, a commitment to attend all sessions is essential to ensure a complete and immersive learning experience. We’re seeking young people who have a passion for the arts and events industry and can commit to fully participating in all aspects of the course.
Course Venue: Fruitmarket 45 Market St, Edinburgh EH1 1DFCourse Dates : Every Tuesday from April 16th, for 10 weeksYour Event: Friday 21st June Fee: £50. This will be refunded in full at the end of the course. 80% attendance is required to qualify for your refund.
