Shaping the Next Decade: Be United Secures 10-Year Support from the Regenerative Futures Fund
We are thrilled to announce that Be United has been selected for long-term support through the Regenerative Futures Fund, a transformative 10-year initiative backing bold, community-led work tackling poverty, racism, and climate change across Edinburgh.
This is more than funding.
This is an investment.
Investment in Black creativity. Investment in cultural equity. Belief in building sustainable futures through the arts, community, and collective power.
At Be United, we’ve never just talked about access we’ve built it.
We’ve built a movement.
Be United is the bridge into the creative industries. Across all 16 sectors, we’re opening doors and making sure creatives get the access, networks, and chances they deserve. From paid creative opportunities and employability programmes to industry partnerships, mentoring, leadership development, and live platforms for emerging talent, we’ve been creating real pathways into Scotland’s creative industries for Black people and People of Colour.
Now, with long-term investment behind us, we’re entering a powerful new chapter. One where we can think bigger, build deeper, and create lasting infrastructure for the next generation of Black creative leaders in Scotland.
A huge thank you to the Regenerative Futures Fund for recognising the importance of community-rooted, culturally-led change.
Special recognition to our CEO, Muse Greenwood, whose fearless leadership, strategic vision, and development of the Next Level employability programme have helped reshape Be United’s future and position the organisation for sustainable growth.

Flowers also to our Marketing, Media & Communications team, led by Monika Navickaitė, for helping amplify the movement with the Next Level programme, and to our Creative Director, Collin Hills, whose work continues to open doors, build pathways, and centre creative progression for our communities.
To our artists, freelancers, ambassadors, collaborators, supporters, and wider community: this belongs to you too.
Scotland’s creative future is being reimagined in real time and Be United is honoured to be a part of that Movement.
