Luhangah
Luhangah is a Malawian-born singer-songwriter and energetic performer. His musical influences were shaped by listening to his late father’s collection of world music LPs. As a songsmith, he delivers powerful societal messages, exploring themes of love, unity, and resistance to colonial oppression and control. His sound blends reggae and Afro-rhythmic genres with musical elements from around the world. Originally from the northern city of Mzuzu, Luhangah was a central figure in Malawi’s music scene, founding prominent Afro-jazz and reggae bands such as Souls of the Ghetto and Body, Mind & Soul. Since relocating to Scotland, he has pursued an academic path alongside his music, working toward a BSc (Hons) focused on the legacy of colonialism in African education systems. Luhangah has performed at major festivals such as Couleur Café, Africa Oye, Lake of Stars, and the London Festival of Architecture, among others.

Eyve
Eyve is a spirited voice with undeniable live energy.
With a genre-fluid approach, she creates an alchemy of Afropop, rap, jazz, and electronic music, infused with ballroom influences — a sound that doesn’t just perform, but commands attention. Rooted in her Zimbabwean heritage and led by community spirit, Eyve sees music as a universal language. Her work is bold yet intimate, deeply expressive yet electrifying — a powerful contradiction that creates space for listeners to let go. A 2024 Scottish Alternative Music Award nominee and Youth Music’s ‘One to Watch in 2025’, her message has resonated deeply with a diverse and growing audience, positioning her as a true “breath of fresh air” within Scotland’s musical landscape. Eyve has received support from platforms such as BBC 1Xtra, The Skinny, Shado Mag, Be United, and Pitch Scotland, and she shared the stage with Moonchild Sanelly during her Newcastle show. With a 2025 festival tour locked in, new music on the way, and momentum building, Eyve stands at a critical inflection point. She continues to capture widespread attention through recent appearances at Widedays, Focus Wales, Eden Festival, and SXSW London — with Kelburn Festival, Back Doune The Rabbit Hole Music Festival, and One Love Nation still to come.

LuckyBabe
Born of Guyanese and Irish roots in the Scottish Highlands, LuckyBabe is known for emotionally rich, high-energy sets that span soca, baile funk, hard house, breaks and more. A resident of PonyBoy and Kin.x, and co-founder of Glasgow’s Gully Gully, she brings boldness, depth and diasporic memory to dance floors and festivals across the UK. Whether opening space for vulnerability or pushing a room to its limit, LuckyBabe builds sets that honour both heritage and hedonism, reshaping what it means to take up space behind the decks.
August 15th – Leith Arches

Sean Focus
Sean Focus is one of the most promising artists in the UK, known for his genre-blending style and explosive live performances.
Hailing from Harare, Zimbabwe, and now based in Edinburgh, Sean blends afro-pop, hip hop, and dancehall into a high-energy sound that reflects both his heritage and global influences. A seasoned performer, Sean crafts songs with sharp precision and a distinct pulse — earning support from BBC 1Xtra, Capital Xtra, Apple Music Radio, and more.
Having shared the stage with Bemz, J Hus and Young T & Bugsey, Sean is recognised for his electric performances and commanding stage presence. In his words: “Energy. Energy. Energy. And sweat. The stage is my playground.”
Sean continues to shape the Scottish hip hop and Afro-fusion scene — including the upcoming One Love Nation performance — and he’s just getting started!

Way Back Home
Way Back Home is a music group formed exclusively for One Love Nation, featuring three incredible music artists: Rue Cooper, Ziggy, and Viv Latifa.
Rue Cooper is a singer and songwriter from Nassau, Bahamas, now based in Edinburgh. Classic gospel melodic influences are evident in Rue’s style as an emerging artist, bringing a reimagined and unique take on soul, pop, and R&B to Scotland and beyond.
Ziggy, the second member of the group, is a Scottish-based artist, singer, and songwriter who blends R&B and soul with reggae and dancehall influences drawn from her Jamaican heritage. With a soulful, velvety voice, she delivers sweet harmonies and honest lyrics inspired by the likes of Alicia Keys, Lauryn Hill, Rihanna, and Ari Lennox. Ziggy has been featured on BBC Radio Scotland Introducing, Colourful Radio, and Amazing Radio UK & US, and has performed at PITCH Scotland, Encore in Edinburgh, and Johnnie Walker Princes Street in partnership with Be United.
Viv Latifa is a singer-songwriter and dancer from Togo and Italy, now based in Edinburgh. She discovered her love for music in church at the age of six, singing gospel. After growing up in Italy and performing in theatres, she tuned her ears toward R&B icons like Destiny’s Child, Rihanna, Usher, and Alicia Keys. She has performed on major stages across Scotland, including Edinburgh’s Hogmanay First Footin’ and Wide Days, and has been featured on BBC Introducing and 1Xtra. Viv is currently working on her debut album.
This supergroup is bringing an unforgettable fusion of soca, dancehall, Afro-fusion, and soul to the One Love Nation stage — a performance not to miss!
