Bantu Traditional Dancers are a community dance group, and although based in Edinburgh, they perform Southern African traditional dances from Botswana, Namibia, South Africa & Zimbabwe. They have future aspirations of performing dances more specifically from the Bantu speaking regions, hence the name!

If you’re lucky enough to make it along to the 4 Nations United event, you might get to catch a glimpse of their most recent routine inspired by one of their Zimbabwean members and some with a more South African rythm.

Forming in July 2016, Bantu Traditional Dancers were delighted to perform during the Just Festival, part of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival & are over the moon to have been invited back by BE United for another show. The feeling is definitely mutual, and we hope you’ll join us in celebrating the spirit of Southern Africa with their lively moves!
